During the mid-1980's, the ever increasing demands for our tooling compelled us to find new ways of increasing production while maintaining our great quality and value.  It started with a single in-house built 2-axis CNC machine tool, our custom empirical measurement coding programming language and an efficient interpreter program running on top of a stripped down operating system.  Designing the hardware and coding the software ourselves we are able to change a lot of things we didn't like about generic and extremely overpriced CNC machine tools.  While our drives are accurate to an incredible 1/1000th of a degree providing for amazing accuracy and repeatability, the most innovative change is our interface software and easy to learn programming language.  Extremely simple in its operation it utilizes empirical measuring coding features; more capable than G-Code, without having to know complicated G-Code.  This system is so intuitive yet powerful that a trainee with no prior exposure to CNC programming is capable of manufacturing the most complex tooling in a matter of a day, rather than weeks or months as would be the case with traditional G-code training.

Comprehensive Quality System Provides Over 20 Years of Part Traceability

Our very successful quality system based on ISO9000:2000 forms the solid foundation of our superior quality.   All orders are inspected by an engineer prior to manufacture for possible errors and suggests changes that could result in performance improvements and/or cost savings.  In addition all raw materials are inspected on site in our materials lab and every part manufactured is clearly labeled with lot specific information providing full traceability.  And being essential to any proper quality system; all manufacturing records are kept in perpetuity.  With 8 terabytes of perpetual and redundant storage capacity, a full accounting of how every part is manufactured is available decades after the fact including digitized copies of original travelers, job cards, drawings, purchase orders, inspection reports, material manifests, notes, overlays, programs and all of the other information used for the production of the original order.
